Thelionema Dark Blue

Thelionema Dark Blue is nice and compact, and tucks in just about anywhere growing just 50cm tall.

A graceful, small tufting grass-like plant with very fine flower stems topped with masses of tiny yellow-centered indigo blooms in spring to mid-summer. Bees and butterflies love them. Suitable for cold temperature to sub-tropical climates in moist, sandy or peaty soils, or well drained clay loam, neutral to acid pH. Use on path edges, amongst rock work or in containers. Trim spent flower stems as required; feed with low phosphorus native fertiliser, early spring or late summer.

Available in the Austraflora range.
